Lunon on Coruscant by coloridium Lunon on Coruscant by coloridium
One of the more recent drawings.
Originally, I planned to draw him on Nar Shaddaa, I think. I'm not sure when exactly Nar Shaddaa turned into Coruscant, but I can't say I'm not happy with the result.

Lunon here looks a bit different from the intial digital sketch, because meanwhile the story got more shape in my head, and I also wanted more variety so I made him a mirialan :D (for those who don't know, that's a SW race, with yellow-ish or green skin, and they bear special tattoos on face and hands - the tattoos are unique in design for each person, and they mark important achievements in one's life)

Star Wars OC.

Media: watercolors

P.S. - ok this is kinda stupid, but does anyone know how I can delete a comment I've made on my own page by mistake? It was supposed to be a reply... but I failed to click the right button... and I ended up hiding it now...Is there a way to completely remove it?

Heh, watercolors aren't that difficult once you get used to them. The trick is to work in thin and transparent layers, and wait for them to dry (usually darker areas have more layers). And have a nice thick paper of course ^^

Heh, I'm glad you like it ^_^. It did take some time, but I enjoyed it - unexpectedly cause I usually don't really like drawing backgrounds. I used to dislike watercolors as well in fact lol. I'm glad my teachers forced me to practice.

Lunon is still a padawan, but he wants to become a shadow that has some sentinel skills as well (like computer skills and lock picking). And his favorite lightsaber form is the acrobatic Ataru,(with 2 lightsabers when the time asks for it). ^_^

<3 well the practice really shows!!

...soooo... he's not a TOR player? :XD: Cos' Shadows are Jedi Consulars, and Sentinels are Jedi Knights... can't be both. That would be... overpowering a character right?
and isn't Ataru a Sith form? My Marauder uses Ataru all the time. It's aggressive and fast--that's why I like it for her <3

oh, you were referring to TOR ^^
In game I made him sentinel - but that's only because I wanted him to have 2 lightsabers. Tho originally he's a character I've made up for a star wars comic I want to draw at some point XD
The Sith and Jedi classes in game are practically mirrors, and have the same skills but with different animations/names. So Sentinels have Ataru as well ^_^.

Generally speaking tho, in the SW universe, for Jedi there are 7 forms, and the last one - Juyo - was originally Sith, so not many Jedi are allowed to study it. And actually every padawan who passes their trials becomes a Jedi Knight - and from there they can chose a specialization like guardian/consular/sentinel. And from there they can have even more specs. Or so says the book I have, The Jedi Path. Hehe, according to the book, shadows are a sentinel class, I kinda forgot about that XD, good thing I just checked.

I know. I have a Sentinel too. Call me a sucker for two weapons--I also have a gunslinger ;)
Nuh uh! It is soooo clear that the Warrior has Force Choke, when the Knight only has Force stasis! so hA! That's totally different :XD:
I don't remember seeing the Ataru form for my Sentinel though O.o then again, my lappy is currently out of commission... so technically so is my game :XD:

Blaaaaaaaahhhh
man it's so much easier when you have a game and character customization. then you can see the classes in action :XD:
So does the Jedi Path happen after Luke Skywalker? cos' then I can chalk that up to...different Jedi :XD:

Having 2 weapons rather than one always seems cooler, doesn't it... more powerful XD
Force choke and stasis do the same thing, they only have different names and animation (tho even stasis lifts the enemy a bit), just like force lightning/vs/telekinetic throw (admittedly the sith version looks way better but still, same damage). They really are mirror classes and of what I know there aren't any differences like that. All the empire and republic classes are mirrors to each other. If they weren't the game would be imbalanced.

Ah the Jedi Path is like a manual for Jedi ^_^ It's pretty cool actually, it's like various Jedi have scribbled their own opinions about the content in the book, including Palpatine and Yoda. Luke as well. But well it does seem to be somewhat more recent than the Old Republic, more like 1000 years before Luke, if I'm not mistaken. It has a lot of nice information, too bad there's only a Jedi version of it, cause I'd love to read a Sith one as well.

YESSSS. Especially this one move that my Gunslinger does, which should be impossible because somethingsomethingpsychology... but it's the one where she crosses her arms and rapid fires at the enemy. Love that one. She just looks soooo cool... <3

Sorry that was my sarcasm coming out. It is so hard to do sarcasm in writing... but the point is that I KNOW THAT THEY ARE THE SAME. heebeejeebee I also have an agent, and a lot of his basic moves are similar to my smuggler's. And I have a vanguard AND a powertech...
So yeah. I know about the similar abilities thing :XD:

dawww sounds like a good inspiration for drawing stuff...hee hee
cos' I actually have trouble finding good references for double bladed lightsaber fights. I'm not talking about poses. There are a bazillion and a half double bladed poses.
But the FIGHTING itself was SO HARD to find!
So I ended up using Satele Shan as a reference because she's the only JEDI (Darth Maul=not a jedi :XD: ) who has a double bladed lightsaber AND FIGHTS.
:XD:

Ah, damn text doing that to me T_T... It's not the first time I miss out the sarcasm when it's written lol.
So you have the same of everything? How many chars do you have? Now I'm also curious about your legacy level as well haha, damn I miss playing it... maybe I should get a subscription again. I find it annoying in the free version, they even took my credits T.T not to mention the lack of skill bars, I couldn't even properly use my guardian like that. Too many skills o.o For some strange reason, even though I started off with a shadow, I ended up with a guardian being my main char. I have their lower lvl sith versions as well, plus a scoundrel tho I suck with range weapons. And a powertech (lvl 10). Ah and my sentinel Lunon of course. Still low lvl tho. Pff talking about it makes me miss it even more o.o

Ah I know what you mean. Visualizing a fight can be pretty tough. I think the basic for this would be using a normal staff. The hands are around the center of the weapon, switching the grip a lot, and ending up with a lot of spinning. Maybe you can search on youtube for vids that involve simple staff forms, and then take out the moves that wouldn't fit a lightsaber. Loads of martial arts styles include staff lessons :D. Heck, you could even find a real life instructor, that's what I did, even if's just the basics, it can help tremendously. You gain a whole new level of understanding how fights can be. XD

I'm glad you like it XD. I was aiming for a darker sky and sunset (yeah, that's supposed to be a sunset -_-) but watercolors can only do so much. In my hands anyway.

Hey, it looks like a sunset to me~! Watercolors can't do nearly as much in my hands as they can in yours, so I'm impressed by your skills *w*b
